Welcome to the website of the Lismore Base Hospital redevelopment. 

With the regional population continuing to grow, the redevelopment project will be a significant boost to local healthcare needs into the future.

Lismore Base Hospital is one of two main public referral hospitals in the Northern NSW Local Health District. The redevelopment will see new and upgraded facilities gradually come into operation from 2016 onwards.

Stage 3a officially opened

Stage 3a of the Lismore Base Hospital redevelopment was official opened today by NSW Premier Mike Baird, NSW Health Minister Jillian Skinner and Federal Health Minister Sussan Ley.

  • Stage 3c

    Stage 3c

    The NSW Government announced an additional $52.5 million for the redevelopment of Lismore Base Hospital's Stage 3c will deliver new inpatient wards, a new intensive care unit and high dependency unit, additional plant facilities, and education, training, research and hospital administration facilities.

    Primary and community health services will move into the main hospital buidling once internal refurbishments are completed.

    Some areas of the existing hospital building will be refurbished as part of the redevelopment project.
